At the end of the year, in a foreign city at the end of a river, at the end of her life, a lonely young woman experiences a mundane but meaningful journey of being alive.

 

Short synopsis

A solitary young foreign woman, who just graduated from an art school and lived by payment from surrogacy, received a death sentence for incurable cervical cancer. With both her physical and mental health suffering deeply, she decided to travel to a faraway city. Attracted by a photo of a little girl statue in Museum Soares dos Reis, she arrives in Porto, but the museum is temporarily closed for renovation. While waiting for its reopening, she spends her last days walking on the streets, observing people, and encountering different men and women.
